The Albert Township Planning Commission is a citizen-led body responsible for guiding land use and development within the township. The Commission reviews and recommends updates to the township’s Master Plan, zoning ordinances, and long-term planning initiatives. It also evaluates site plans, special land use requests, and other development proposals to ensure they align with township goals and regulations.
The Planning Commission meets regularly on the 4th Wednesday of every month throughout calendar year 2025. Special meetings may be held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month if needed, and additional special meetings may be called outside of the regular schedule when necessary. All meetings are held at 4:30 P.M. at the Albert Township Hall, 4360 Hanson Street, Lewiston.
Members are appointed by the Township Board and serve to help preserve the character of the community while promoting thoughtful growth.
