Tom May Memorial Park is a cherished local beach and recreation area located on the shores of East Twin Lake in Lewiston. It offers a sandy swimming area, a kids’ playground, a sand volleyball court, public restrooms, and ample parking — making it a favorite spot for families and visitors.

The park is named in memory of Thomas J. “Tommy” May, a lifelong resident who left a lasting mark on the Lewiston community. Born and raised in the family’s historic “Big House,” Tom was a hard-working, kindhearted man who helped run Lewiston Sand & Gravel, the family business. He loved the outdoors, working the land, and giving back to the town he called home. This park stands as a tribute to his dedication and legacy.
