Albert Township is committed to ensuring fair, transparent, and accessible elections for all eligible voters. This section provides information on upcoming election dates, polling locations, voter registration, absentee ballots, and other election-related resources.

🗳️ Register to Vote

Residents can register to vote online, by mail, or in person. 

Visit the Michigan Voter Information Center to:

  • Register to vote
  • Update your voter registration
  • Check your registration status
  • Find your polling place and view a sample ballot

✉️ Absentee Voting

Any registered voter in Michigan may request an absentee ballot. If you would like to vote absentee on a regular basis, you can request to be added to the Permanent Absentee Voter List.

Military personnel and overseas voters can use the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) to register and request an absentee ballot.

📇 REAL ID Notice

Michigan Secretary of State offices are now issuing REAL ID–compliant driver’s licenses and state ID cards, which may be required for certain identification purposes (not for voting).
